1.Nano-Ceramic Films

Nanometer (nm): 1 centimeter = 10 millimeters = 10,000 micrometers = 10,000,000 nanometers
Nano is a unit of scale between macro and micro
It is a new technology that can be applied to actual production by technicians through various precision means. When a material reaches the nanometer scale, light, electricity, magnetism, force, etc. will appear special properties completely Different with the original material. Using this special property, material applications will achieve more application value and added value. This technology has developed rapidly in the past two decades
What kind of material we use for our ceramic films?
Nano-Cesium-Doped Tungsten Oxide [Cs0.33WOx]:
It is one of the semiconductor materials with the highest spectral selectivity found to date. It is characterized by a high transmittance to visible light and a strong barrier in the near infrared region. The special properties of this material can completely replace expensive magnetron sputtering and other technologies, and are used for special needs such as solar film production, near-infrared identification, and near-infrared hot-melt processes.
Due to this features, ceramic film is the highest quality of window tint film compared to others, but is also the most expensive. Ceramic films contains no dye, metal or carbon, it contains ceramic particles that are nonconductive and nonmetallic. The ceramic elements reflect and reduce solar heat and UV rays from entering the car. While it reflects and absorbs high levels of light, it also allows for maximum visibility. Ceramic films reduce glare and fading and are highly shatter-proof.
  • Adsorbs twice as much heat
  • Zero electrical signals interference
  • Blocks heat, UV rays and glare.
  • No-color fade.
  • High clarity..
  • Non reflective.
  • Top of the line.

The Nano ceramic and ceramic films from KSB have been always a best seller for its price and quality. A lifetime warranty is offer to customers, tint shops and distributors can sell then worry-free.

2.Carbon

Carbon has become a favorite choice for recent years, and people talk and use this films a lot. The reason is the films is fair-priced, high performance and easy to work with.
Carbon window tint films give you a dark, matte finish with a sleek vibe. Hundreds of micro-layers of polymer and carbon block infrared light from reaching the interior.
  • Non reflective.
  • High performance
  • Easy to work with.
  • Competitive price
  • Durable and reliable.
These films are very color stable, have no metal and will not interfere with any electronic signals or devices.

3.2 Ply anti-scratch

This is a 2-ply Nano carbon and deep dyed films that are color stable and have no metal, and will not interfere with any electronic signals or devices.
It is a must have for most of the shops, for its low price, quality and performance, the IR rate is around 15%, but for some markets, people just don’t care that much. So K series is definitely the best seller for markets like Latin America, Middle east and Russian, also USA.

4.Metallic Films

Many people still like Metalized window tint. Metallic particles are embedded in the material, which make it a thicker type of film Formed of an adhesive base layer that bonds to your car window, the film also has a treated layer to block UV radiation and a metalized layer that reflects heat and darkens the glass. A final top hard coat acts as a protective layer to prevent scratches.

Designed with several layers, metalized tint films reflect heat from the sun, keeping it outside your car to protect the interior. The metal elements within the layers, not only strengthens the window, making it more durable and shatter-resistant but also give off a shiny appearance from the outside. The reflective properties may not be the look you want, as most tints have a matte finish. However, metalized window tints are still functional.

Although the film has several positive qualities, the metallic properties often interfere with technology such as your GPS, cell phone and radio reception. Your phone signal may cut in and out, and your GPS system may default to being unusable. If you don’t use electronics often while driving, it may not affect you as much as someone who has electronic devices set up.

Metalized Tint Advantages
Blocks glare and UV rays.
No colors fade.
Durable and reliable.
High heat reduction.

Metallic Costs more than dyed tint because of metal particles. Has a shiny appearance, which may not be the aesthetic you desire. And it Interferes with radio and other technology like cell phone signals and tire-pressure monitoring systems.

5.Dye films

Typically A dyed window tint has a layer of dye between the adhesive layer and a protective top coating made of polyester. The adhesive side sticks to the glass while the top coat protects your window from accidental scratches. Unfortunately, the dye fades over time from excessive UV exposure, turning the film from black to purple.

KSB window film applies the deep dye technology, which means the base PET are produced by using colored PET chips, which are embedded in the film instead of color coating it on outside of the transparent films, PET chips (Polyethylene Terephthalate), are melted down and then stretched into a polyester sheet, meaning it is stretched in the direction of both its length and width. UV blockers are added at this point. This greatly improves the color stability and performances, avoiding a film turn into purple.
The result is a film that will retain its color several years longer than traditional films where the dye is "applied" to the clear polyester.

Color stable dye films are some of the best window films you can tint on your vehicle. They won't block out as much heat as our CARBON film, or as much as our Nano-CERAMIC films, but they will last and perform enough to satisfy most everyone.

KSB Dye film has been selling tons of this for each month, and it is a tinters’ must have.

Advantages of Dyed Film

Blocks glare from headlights, sun and bright reflections.
No signal interferences
non-reflective
cost-effective option.
Easy to work with.

Disadvantages of Dyed Film
Color may fade over time.
Lower heat rejection.

KSB window film Material Co., LTD offers a variety of films with different price and quality that shop and distributors like to sell.
